Hiking through the Barranc de l’infern
It runs entirely along the path, made in the opposite direction to the clock, which surrounds the fantastic Barranc de l’Infern, of high geological and botanical value, using the peculiar and characteristic horseshoe paths with steps, which zig-zag they save the great differences between Fleix and Benimaurell, of their respective “Juvees D’Enmig” and “Juvees de Dalt”.
The most emblematic place in the area is a stretch of difficult access ravine that runs between deep wells, pebbles and natural slides whose depth seems to reach the very center of the earth, which is why it has earned the name of Barranc de L’Infern. At the exit of the canyon, the erosion of the river has sculpted a wide natural vault of enormous dimensions. The route is a special place for lovers of canyoning with 9 km of waterfalls, waterfalls and kettles, requires skill and knowledge of speleology, since it makes the use of climbing equipment necessary.
