Baixada al Toll Blau
The route begins at the church of Campell (18th century), borders the Barranc de les Hortes passing through the leafy grove of Font del Gel entering into the wood that leads to Fontilles, a place worth a visit, as in 1909 it was created as a leper colony. When passing through el Toll Blau, a natural valley with still water surrounded by riverside vegetation, you reach a darkened tunnel which leads to the Dam, planned towards the end of the 19th century, as a solution for irrigating the Rectoria and Dénia. La Torre de la Casota and the Castell de les Atzavares, close by the route, are of Muslim origin dating from the late 12th and the mid-13th centuries, with the base of the construction still intact.
